We are Louise and Alan. We live in Essex, not far from the county town Chelmsford. We live here with our six children, two girls and four boys. We have eight cats, 7 Norwegians & 1 Moggie, & our retired Greyhound 'Romeo'. 

Here at Elskendevenn Norwegian Forest Cats the health, welfare and happiness of our cats is of the utmost importance to us. All of our cats are raised in the family home along with the rest of the family. Our Norwegians are primarily house cats, however they have access to an outside run in our garden affording them the best of both worlds.

Elskendevenn roughly translated is Norwegian for Loving Friend. For anyone that has come in contact with this loving and friendly breed will understand our thought behind this name.
